You are given voices to sing praises

Not to speak ill of others

You are given hands to create things

Not destroy the good work of freedom fighters

You are given ears to hear good music

Not hear slander and gossip

You have a good pair of eyes

But you chose to be blind to injustice

You have feet to take you to places

Not stand still, feel safe

while others are beaten to their deaths

You cannot fight ignorance, intolerance

malice and prejudice with vengeance

Hate is Hate

No matter how you want to interpret it.

An eye for an eye

A tooth for a tooth

will just lead everyone blind and toothless

Maybe if we all act as one unit

and stop acting like our neighbor is different

We can actually experience Peace

and not just dream it.
